Life skills development


Employment

Manpower Seva is earnestly involved in developing special programs that focuses on women employment. This program aims to provide skills that give employability to women and to provide competencies and skill that enable women to become self-employed / entrepreneurs. The Scheme is intended to benefit women who are in the age group of 18 years and above across the Mumbai and its nearby Suburbs.

The assistance under women employment program will be available in any sector for imparting skills related to employability and entrepreneurship in a woman, including but not limited to the Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Processing, Handlooms, Tailoring, Stitching, Embroidery, Zari, Handicrafts, Computer & IT enable services along with soft skills and skills for the work place such as spoken English, Gems & Jewellery, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality industry and so forth.


Trainings

Women Training under Manpower Skill Development Program takes care of providing skill training to women within in the city and rural areas which aims at stimulating employment opportunities among women of various socio-economic levels and different age groups.

Manpower Skill Development Programme (MSDP) was designed and launched to mainstream women into economic activities. This project on women’s vocational training was formulated with the assistance of experts in the related filed. Under this project, vocational trades were identified that were particularly suitable for women and their implementation planned. This training Programme promotes Vocational Training for women for wage-employment in industry, as instructors and also promotes their self-employment.
